Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Preconstruction/Estimating Manager to provide value analysis and preconstruction expertise in our Phoenix, AZ office.

Specific duties include selling pre-construction services, review and provide feedback on specific project estimates, assist customers, division managers, and developers with conceptual budgets, accurate detailed estimates, and aggressive bidding on competitive and negotiated building projects, document project information, include development and maintenance of historical project cost information, and stay current with industry trends in preconstruction to ensure Ryan stays competitive while remaining consistent in achieving customer satisfaction and Raving Fans goals.

Professional background must include 4-6 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the design/build delivery process, value design and budget control during the planning and design phases, thorough knowledge of the architectural, engineering, and construction process, a strong personal presence with sales, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to maintain balance between costs, quality, and owner’s goals. Successful candidates must be highly motivated with strong independence, be a proven team player, have a high standard for personal performance, behavior, ethics, and professionalism. Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is required.
