Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for a roving Maintenance Engineer, in Phoenix Arizona to be initially assigned to two West Valley office locations.We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in HVAC in a commercial environment.

Specific duties include:

1.      Be able to perform repairs as well as routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment such as water source heat pumps, cooling towers, etc.

2.      Be able to diagnose system problems.

3.      Work with multiple web-based EMS systems.

4.      Use electronic work orders.

5.      Maintain operations logs.

6.      General repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment, and fixtures.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility, be proactive and have good written and verbal communication skills, be able to work well and efficiently on a team, and have a positive, helpful attitude at all times when interacting with building occupants. HVAC technical degree or diploma plus 2-5 years of HVAC service experience in commercial building operation and equipment are required. Must be able to lift 100 pounds, work from a ladder, work overhead, and smell smoke and other chemicals. Must be computer literate and be able to successfully pass a background check to qualify. Electrical experience is a plus!
