Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in the Twin Cities area!  

We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a minimum of 2 years of successful maintenance experience in a commercial environment. Specific duties include: performing routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.  Candidate should have knowledge of HVAC systems, and ability to make needed adjustments and perform general repairs.  Candidate may coordinate and will help manage and oversee vendors work, perform general repairs adjustments to building systems, equipment, fixtures, lighting, and plumbing under the guidance of a lead / chief engineer. 

Successful candidates must assume responsibility, have excellent verbal communication skills, be able to work well and efficiently on a team or individually, have a positive, helpful attitude at all times when interacting with building occupants, and be able to meet or exceed internal and external customers’ expectations on a daily basis. Must have clear driving record, basic computer skills, be able to lift 120 pounds, work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals, and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Must have high school degree or equivalent; two-year technical degree or equivalent in commercial building operation and equipment is preferred.
