Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Assistant Superintendent for Wind projects in our Minneapolis, MN office.   

Duties include working with erection superintendents in overseeing both self-performed and subcontractor structural steel and pre-engineered buildings; coordinate and oversee all subcontractors; oversee and assist project engineers with offload/inspections, grout releases, turbine erection, torque checks, turbine punch lists, and final walk-downs. Also responsible for helping to enforce Ryan safety policies and procedures and set a good example for both Ryan and subcontractor employees, following instructions given by superintendent, and assist in the training of any personnel under their supervision.

Qualified individuals will have high school diploma or GED, retain a valid drivers’ license, ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and subsequent random and post-accident drug and alcohol testing, ability to work independently and productively with others, possess strong problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, ability to remain calm during stressful situations while working through any challenges or issues, and know when to ask for help when a job task exceeds their skills or abilities. Candidates must be climb-trained, ENSA rescue trained, and proficient with Microsoft Project.
