Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Assistant Superintendent in our Phoenix, AZ office. 

Specific duties include managing subcontractors performance, development of CPM computer-generated scheduling and tracking, and management of overall general construction budget, read and comprehend plans, prints, and specs, develop material procurement list and incorporate into master schedule, review shop drawings, establish and monitor QC program, value engineer throughout project, mentor subordinates, effectively communicate with all project team members, make sound decisions and seek creative solutions to problems using all available resources, create Raving Fans, and sell additional work!

Professional background must include 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction including strong structural concrete experience. Qualifications include working knowledge of BIM and/or CAD and current building codes, supervision skills, scheduling experience using MS Project, Prolog, and Primavera P-6, post high school education or equivalent in the construction field, retain a valid driver’s license, live in the Phoenix area, and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing. Successful candidate must be fluent in English (and Spanish preferred), have willingness and ability to travel, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
